Our Centre seeks to attract the most talented individuals, in order to help them build competitive applications for Wellcome Trust fellowships.
We recognise that targeted financial assistance, in the early stages of building your research concept, can be very useful.
Our Flexible Funding Pot (FFP) can support costs associated with short targeted programmes of activities, including pre-planned meetings, preliminary data gathering & international site visits. We also particularly welcome the development of placement opportunities for candidates from developing nations, to visit research institutions across the world, to develop their own skills and expertise before building competitive fellowship applications.
This scheme is open to candidates with an academic collaborator associated with the Centre. If you do not yet have a WTCGHR academic supervisor, but wish to express an interest in working with Centre, please contact us, and arrangements can be made to match you with a relevant member of staff.
You may wish to review the Centre's Board membership & research interests, or a more broad list of potential projects and Centre affiliated supervisors.
